I never regretted it and even after extreme long usage they still last. Moving the cursor on the screen is much more intuitive to me with a trackball than with a mouse. Please check your local miuse tax laws. Maybe it will break in after a while It feels more secure and smooth.

I had one of these years ago and the ball was lighter. There are a lot more choices.

However - I never got the hang of the upper two mouse buttons but that isn't really necessary either. I'm on the computer all day and do everything i can to make my day run smoother. I would have given it a 5 stars but the wheel has a slight rough turn and feels like sticking so I bumped it down to a 4.

It works, and I like it better than a regular mouse, but I sure wish it had the same kensngton of quality as the one I used at work. I did like the scrolling kensinfton of the Magic Mouse but after a week I kdnsington down and bought another Kensington Expert Mouse. Rated 3 out of 5 by ncpilot from A bit disappointed I used this model trackball at work for years older model frombut they've changed the construction quite a bit, and it feels cheap now. The only problem is the scroll ring sometimes goes more than a page even with a small movement.
